Workshop Practice

Engaging in workshop practice allowed me to reconnect with artmaking as both artist and teacher, working through painting, printmaking, and sculpture in a collaborative, community-driven environment. This process highlighted the importance of teachers experiencing the very practices we bring into the classroom, ensuring that the units of learning we design are authentic, curriculum-aligned, and rooted in lived artistic exploration. By creating and responding alongside peers from diverse artistic disciplines, I was able to expand my own practice while developing meaningful resources for students.
